You control the water flow with a knob on the wand.  You control the soap via a trigger on the handle.  Soap is dispensed to the device via a one-gallon battery powered tank.  Larger tanks are available for professional use, or when volume grooming is required.

With horses, CRITTER SCRUB's design allows you to reach from head to hoof without stretching and bending.  You can scrub the head, the mane the legs and the hoofs without a great deal of physical exertion.  

With dogs, CRITTER SCRUB reaches all areas including head, belly and tail, all without having to bend and stoop over the dog.  You can even wash the dog while you are sitting down and still reach all areas.
